screenprinting studio

super cool studio mates, lots of windows and great of views of the freeway….
what more could you ask for in a creative space?

We just got done shooting our new 08 catalog, and are stoked it turned out so well.
After everything we put in to every new season to make new tee designs:
• Figure out the new graphics and refine until we’re stoked about them (anywhere between 1 week– 2 months per design)
• Go through our numbers, order up teeshirts (or get them made), and get them dyed
• Make sure everything arrives on time and in the right quantities, and sort it all out.
• Press check all of our colorways at the printer to make sure it all looks like it did in our heads (and make changes til it works)
Then it all comes down to one day, when all that matters is getting the right people to work it so we can get good photos of everything that’s new that season. SO thanks to Michael, Ben, Mark, Roxy and our our new awesome model Helen for working it all day last Saturday. Many thanks to David Franklin, longtime Fluffy friend and evil mastermind behind the awesome UnderSkatement film series, for putting up with us (again). The new stuff (including sweet wood-grain belts, new passport wallets and seven new tee designs) will be up in a few weeks! Check back!

FluffyCo is stoked to have such a great screen printer right here in San Francisco. The shop is run by Anthony Skirvin, who’s arty as well as being a printer: so he gets where we’re coming from. They just got done printing all of our samples for the spring tradeshows, and as usual everything looks dope. Here’s some pics to give you the lay of the land, or you can check their whole scene online at ApeDoGood.com.
